What ticket are you actually booking?

The GetYourGuide ferry product linked from this site names NORTOUR as the activity provider. It covers the return crossing from Corralejo and lets you choose among the return options offered for your date. Permit processing is optional; the official authorization itself remains free when requested directly through LobosPass.

This page is independent. We explain the product and may earn a commission from the GetYourGuide link, but Nortour controls the boats and the booking page controls live availability.

Barco Majorero or Majorero Express?

Nortour assigns either Barco Majorero or Majorero Express according to daily operations. The historic Majorero has glass-bottom viewing; Majorero Express is the smaller, more modern vessel. A standard ferry booking does not promise a particular boat, so do not choose the ticket solely for the glass bottom.

* Nortour marks these sailings as available from July to September. Boarding closes 10 minutes before departure; weather or exceptional operations can change the schedule. Use the full operator-by-operator timetable before choosing.

Accessibility, luggage and beach equipment

Nortour says its vessels can accept passengers with reduced mobility only when a folding wheelchair is used and the passenger can take a few steps to board and disembark. Tell the provider during booking. The reseller page currently displays both an accessibility badge and a more restrictive suitability note, so contact the provider before paying if step-free travel is essential.

Light luggage, pushchairs, umbrellas, small coolers and personal beach equipment are permitted subject to operating conditions. There are no equipment rentals on Lobos. Read the packing checklist and add the correct bicycle supplement where needed.

Cancellation and how early to book

Nortour publishes free cancellation or modification up to 24 hours before departure; the linked GetYourGuide product also states free cancellation up to 24 hours in advance. Nortour recommends booking four to five days ahead in busy periods because both seats and visitor authorizations are limited.

Is Nortour the right choice?

Nortour is particularly useful when its wider set of published time combinations, optional permit processing or bicycle and surfboard policy fits your plan. Ferry Isla de Lobos publishes an earlier 09:45 departure, so the correct choice still depends on the day you want. Open the Nortour vs Ferry Isla de Lobos comparison rather than treating one company as universally better.
